Mont-Aigoual, standing at 1567 metres above sea level, has hosted an observatory and weather station since 1887.
The view is stunning, with a panorama stretching over a quarter of France from Mont Ventoux to Mont Blanc, from the Canigou mountain to the Pic du Midi, from the Le Puy range to the Mediterranean.
A free exhibition, covering 500 m², is open from 1 May to 30 September.
