Lac de Charpal
Overlooked by the Truc de Fortunio, a peak topping 1551 m, this lake provides Mende's water supply.
Bagnols les Bains
Bagnols has been a spa town since Roman times. Today it specialises in cures and fitness training in a natural setting.
Lanuéjols
A Roman mausoleum in excellent condition, dedicated to the memory of the two children of the Roman dignitary Lucius Julius Bassianus.

Mende's character has changed little since the middle ages. Nestled at the heart of the Lot valley, it is the main town of the Lozère.
