Gévaudan by road
Circuit : 33 km

Château de la Baume
Historic Monument. Decoration in the style favoured by Louis XIV mixed with the work of Italian-inspired artists from Montpellier.

Roc de Peyre
Altitude 1180 m. Former site of a castle belonging to the Barons of Peyre. Breathtaking views from the lookout point.

The Gévaudan wolves
Discover this site where 120 wolves live in semi-captivity in a wooded park covering several hectares. Guided tour.

Marvejols
The monumental doors to the round towers show the fine past of this former royal town.

La Canourgue
Known as the "Little Venice in the Lozère" due to the numerous streams and canals. Overhanging houses, 12th century church.

Le Sabot de Malpeyre
A curious hoof-shaped rock, 30 m high, overlooking the valley on the D46 road towards the Causse de Sauveterre.

Saint Saturnin
A magnificent partially restored château. Access via a scenic country road.
