Fishing

Fishermen are in their element in the Lozère, with over 2700 km of top category rivers and streams. The watery heart of the Massif Central range, the Lozère is ideal for fishing. Courses, training sessions and special accommodation have been set up to provide something to suit each and every fisherman.

There are ten fishing rivers (The Bès, Truyère, Colagne, Chapeauroux, Allier, Altier, Les Gardons Cévenols, Jonte, Tarn and Lot) and numerous lakes (Lac des Salhiens, Lac de Saint Andéol, Lac de Souverols, to name but a few) as well as several organised courses (Lac de Barrandon, Etang de Bonnecombe et de Saint-Léger-du-Malzieu, Etang du Béal).
